Crackle Varnish 25

Use

Transparent varnish that crackles the top layer of acrylic paint.

Leaves no brush marks.

Acid free. Fast drying.

Crackling effect is more or less prominent depending on the thickness of the applied varnish.

Manual

Paint the substrate to be decorated and allow to dry.
Shake well. Spray crackle varnish uniformly from 20cm.
Spray two thin coats of crackle varnish. The product will form a clear, shiny coating. It is possible to "retouch" if necessary.
Apply the 2nd color of acrylic paint after allowing a crackle to dry for 15 min.
Apply paint in one pass.
Paint will crack as it dries.
After 24h protect the creation with ODIF finishing varnish.

Tips : 1) Preferably use a synthetic bristle brush.
2) To obtain finer and more uniform effect, a second coat of paint can be applied.
3) Matt paint will crack more easily than a satin paint or a gloss paint.

Do not pierce or burn, even after use.
Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
Protect from sunlight. Do no expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C/122°F.
