DIY – No Sew Customized Tote Bag

MATERIALS

  • Tote bag
  • Fabric
  • Odif Odicoat
  • Odif 606 Iron-On Adhesive
  • Ribbon
  • Parchment paper
  • Tape measure
  • Scissors
  • Iron

STEP 1

  • Wash your fabric before using and protect work surface.

  • Measure the tote bag and cut the fabric a little larger.

STEP 2

  • Place the fabric on a plastic surface.

  • Spread one coat of Odicoat with the Odicoat tool.

  • Allow to dry 20 minutes then spread another coat.

  • Once dry, place parchment paper on fabric and iron.

STEP 3

  • Fold the fabric in half and mark the fold with the iron.

STEP 4

  • Place the tote bag in the fold.

  • Spray Odif 606 Iron-On Adhesive on the back of one of the fabric sides.

STEP 5

  • Fold the sprayed fabric onto the tote and iron for 45 seconds with dry iron.

  • Cut the excess fabric.

  • Turn the tote bag over and repeat for the second side.

STEP 6

  • Spray the Odif 606 Iron-On Adhesive on the back of the ribbon.

  • Protect with parchment paper and adhere to the tote bag with dry iron.

  • Cut the excess ribbon.
