DIY - A glitter crown

Photo : DIY - A glitter crown

Clarisse from Tiny Little Craft has concocted a new very poetic tutorial for you :)

Note
Duration : 1 h + 1 h of intermediate drying
Difficulty : 3/5
Material : DIY - A glitter crown

Material

  • White cotton (a 50cm x 30cm coupon)
  • Odif Fabric Booster
  • Odif gold glitter varnish
  • Textile wadding (one handle is enough)
  • Wooden pencil
  • Fabric scissors
  • White thread
  • Needle

Step 1

Step 1
  • Fold the white cotton in half and trace the shape of a crown on the fabric.
  • Cut out the crown shape on the fabric folded in 2 - You get 2 white cotton crowns.
  • Soak the 2 crowns with the Fabric Booster and soak them in a basin for 10 minutes.
  • Once the fabric is well impregnated, dry it for at least 1 hour or iron it to speed up drying.

Step 2

Step 2
  • Lay the 2 crowns flat on paper and, in a well-ventilated place, sprinkle them with glitter varnish.
  • The stiffened fabric is now finely glittered.

Step 3

Step 3
  • Place the crowns one on top of the other and sew by hand with white cotton thread on the left side, the top with serrations and the right side.

Step 4

Step 4
  • Fill the crown with a few grams of textile wadding.
  • Making a seam to close the bottom of the crown

Step 5

Step 5
  • Connect the 2 sides of the crown with a last stitch of white thread.

Conclusion
