DIY - Baby Bloomer bébé

• Download and print the pattern of « Pour mes jolis mômes » in real size.
• (Make sure the pattern is at the right size by measuring the 3cm x 3cm square.)
• Cut and tape the pattern to the assembly marks.

• Fold the fabric in half in a straight direction (parallel to the edge).
• To keep the fabric folded without having to pin it, spray on a draft sheet of the Odif 505 Odif temporary adhesive, double-sided.
• Insert the sheet into the fold and press.

• Spray the Odif 505 temporary adhesive on the paper pattern and then stick it on the fabric.
• Cut the fabric flush with the pattern (seam margins are included in the pattern).

• Smooth edges in zig zag stitch with sewing machine, or over-sewing machine.

• Fold the piece in half, right side together, to obtain a pair of panties.
• Pin the sides, then sew 0.5 cm from the edge.
• Iron open seams. 

• Fold each round of the leg of 1 cm on the inside of the bloomer.
• Sew at 0.7 cm and leave an opening of 3 cm to be able to insert the elastic.
• As for the thighs, fold the waist 3 cm upside down.
• Sew 2.7 cm from edge leaving a 3 cm opening to insert the elastic.

• Insert the elastics with the safety pin. The 0.5 cm wide elastics are for the thighs, and the 2.5 cm wide elastic is for the waist.
• Fasten the elastic bands by stitching them end to end with a zig zag stitch round trip.

• Sew the hems to the 3 openings.
• Turn the panties on the right side and it’s done:-)
