Duration : 10 min
Difficulty : Easy
Material : DIY - Bucolic flower pot : eco upcycling

Material

  • 303 permanent adhesive
  • A spool of string
  • An empty bottle
  • A sheet of white paper
  • A paper napkin
  • A pair of scissors
  • A flexible ruler
  • A pencil
  • A rag

Adhere the string

Adhere the string

Protect the work surface. Shake the can of 303 permanent adhesive and spray some on a piece of scrap paper.
Then spray it on the bottle. Twist your string around the bottle, starting at the bottom. Tighten it well, so you no longer see the glass. Cut the string once you are done.
With a dry rag, press on the string to make sure it is glued.

Measure the bottle

Measure the bottle

Measure the bottle with a flexible ruler or a piece of string, and draw a rectangle of the same dimensions on both the napkin and the sheet of white paper. Cut them out.

Adhere the napkin

Adhere the napkin

First, we will adhere the napkin onto the white paper. Begin by separating the layers of the napkin. Keep only the layer with the patterns. Then spray the 303 permanent adhesive on the back of the napkin. Stick the napkin on the white paper rectangle. Then spray on the white side of the paper and place it on the bottle.

Stick the paper

Stick the paper

Press firmly to stick it properly.
Then stick the other pieces of napkin on the bottle. You can add raffia and charms to customize it a bit more.
Here is a nice upcycled bottle made in no time !
