Material

  • 35 x 50 cm of burlap cloth for each set (natural and brown)
  • 13 x 42 cm of burlap cloth for each cutlery holder (natural and brown colour)
  • Scraps of burlap cloth
  • Black and white stencil paint
  • Fine twine
  • 1 small piece of thin branch (apple tail)
  • 1 A4 sheet of cardboard or cardboard
  • Odif 101 Multimedia Adhesive
  • Odif 707 Repositionable adhesive
  • Odif DK5 Glue cleaner
  • Odif Odicoat
  • Odif Fabric Booster
  • Stencil brush
  • Scissors
  • Precision cutter
  • Syringe
  • Glue brush
  • Parchment paper
  • Iron

  • Print the stencil texts and glue them onto the thin cardboard using the Odif 101 Multimedia Adhesive.

  • Cut out the letters with the precision cutter to obtain the stencil.

  • Unravel 3 or 4 threads all around the burlap rectangles provided for the sets.

  • Spray the Odif 707 Repositionable Adhesive on the back of the stencil and glue it in place.

  • Paint the texts.
  • Let dry for about 1 hour and then fix them with an hot iron.

  • Coat the entire surface of each set with 1 layer of Odif Odicoat, the support being very absorbent, 1 layer is enough.

As soon as the table set is dry, to fix the Odif Odicoat, iron the entire surface at medium temperature by protecting the sole with parchment paper.

  • With the pattern, cut the shape of the cutlery holders.
  • Unravel 2 threads on the 3 straight edges.
  • Fold the edge diagonally to form a hem and sew to the front stitch along the edge.

  • Fold the band as shown on the pattern and sew the sides and separations to the front stitch.

  • Cut a 5 x 8 cm burlap cloth rectangle in a contrasting color with the cutlery holder.
  • Fray 2 threads on each side and then glue the rectangle to the top of the cutlery holder.
  • Make a string apple with a 3 cm diameter tube and fabric booster (attached model)
  • Stick the tail of the apple with the Odif Odicoat Odif and syringe and then stick the apple in place.

TIP
Clean the stencil paint material with DK5. It can also dilute the paint slightly if it dries too quickly
