Material
Scrap fabric in pastels and prints
Odif Odicoat
Odif 808 Reactivating Adhesive
Batting
Scissor
Iron
Marking pencil
Needle and thread
Step 1
Apply 3 coats of Odicoat on fabric to be used on bottom half of ice cream cone (cone section).
Allow to dry 30 minutes between coats.
Protect with parchment paper and iron.
Step 2
Spray 808 Reactivating Adhesive on pattern pieces.
Cut around the pattern.
Reposition, iron in place and repeat on all other fabric pieces.
Step 3
Using pattern as guide mark the eyes and mouth on face fabric and embroider with 2 strands of embroidery thread using a stem stitch (or draw with fabric markers).
Step 4
Join the lower and top part of the ice cream cone together (1 face side and 1 back side) with a straight stitch leaving a 1.5” opening on the back side for stuffing the batting.
Step 5
Place front and back right sides together matching middle seams and sew all around using a straight stitch.
Step 6
Clip seam allowance in curves and turn inside out using opening.
Step 7
Stuff batting through opening (push with pointy tool to get to all parts).
