Using a flat brush, coat the 2 fabric squares with a thin coat of Odicoat. Leave to dry for about 20 minutes.

Step 2

Step 2

Protect the soleplate fabric from the iron by covering it with a sheet of greaseproof paper and fix the Odicoat at medium temperature.

Over the length of the rectangle, overlap the coated fabric without fleece (back side up), with the zipper centred (front side up) and end with the fabric with fleece (fleece up). Pin with sewing clamps to avoid puncturing the coated fabric.

Step 6

Step 6

Install the zipper presser foot on the machine and sew on all thicknesses. Repeat steps 5 and 6 on the other side of the zipper with the remaining fabric rectangles.

Step 8

Step 12

Step 12

Repeat steps 10 and 11 at the other end of the kit.

Step 13

Step 13

Flatten the corners of the kit by centering the seam on the triangle that forms.

Step 14

Step 14

Make a seam about 3 to 5 cm from the tip (this seam determines the height of the kit) on the 4 corners.

Step 15

Step 15

Cut the corners 0.5 cm from the seam.

Step 16

Step 16

Reinforce corner seams at zig-zag stitch. Stop the threads and cut them again.
