Prepare work surface

Prepare work surface

Use Odicoat at room temperature. Protect your work surface. Lay the fabric on a flat surface.

Apply the Odicoat to the entire surface with light pressure, in a thin layer, using a brush.
The product will level itself as it dries. For better protection, apply two coats, crossing the passes. Each new coat can be applied when the previous one is dry to the touch.

Let Dry

Let Dry

Dry to the touch: from 20 minutes up to 1h. Completely dry in 2 h. Depends on the thickness of the layer.
Important : Carefully wipe edge of container and lid before closing.

Draw the heart

Draw the heart

Once the coated fabric is dry, draw two identical hearts, about (10 cm) 4"  high, on the uncoated side. Then cut them out. Odicoat treated fabric is very easy to cut and does not fray.

Sew

Sew

Sew the two hearts together, coated sides out, starting at the top of the heart. Remember to stop before you reach the top of the heart again.

Stuffing

Stuffing

Fill the heart with stuffing.

Attach the clasp

Attach the clasp

Cut a strip in the ribbon (10 cm) 4" length, attach it to the clasp then sew it in the heart. Finish sewing the heart and tie a knot.

Finish

Finish

Sew on a charm.
Cut out a strip of fabric and tie it on the clasp. Do the same with a sting and tie a charm onto it.

Now you have your nice key ring to attach to your bag or keys !
